My 'Lost' Theory

Ok folks here is MY take on LOST. This is my ridiculous theory. I've started thinking about this and now i've come to realize where they are going.

The island the logos and the numbers are all a program. A program to a simulation that is stuck in the 'on' position. The people of the island that were there before the flight815 people showed up are different programs running security and doing little jobs here and there much like the unseen security monster.

Desmond's job is to oversee the code repeatedly typing it in when the 108 runs out. The 108 is the signature code put in by the creator the 'voice' of the island if you will.

Each passenger of oceanicflight 815 represents a program from a different system. Such as Jack a recovery program dealing in logistics, Kate a hack program created to retrieve passwords etc, Locke an unfinished program that was being written for Loss prevention, Hurley a Lottery number generator program, etc etc.

I predict that there is a regeneration station on the island where the dead can be repurposed and brought back to serve a new purpose for the island. Boone will be back as will Ethan but they will now serve the island program.

The island is like a magnet it's a virus pulling in programs from all over just like the MCP from Tron. There is a big picture that will not even be hinted at until season 5. Back to the logo.

The logo is an imprint left by the programmer. The logo represents a calling card to the guy who inserted his program into the already existing application. It was for some reason not known implemented to keep something out. something that obviously has not been seen yet. I believe the 'Sickness' is a repair code and 'virus' if you will-to rid the 'Island'program of festering spam that's clogging up the function of the island.

The function of the island? A Video Game.

The French lady is an NPC as are The Others- She giving game instructions to programs not PC's-Or are they? Could the passengers be unwilling Player Characters forced into this madness? Now that I think about it Ethan is a PC or Player Character and Online guy at a computer.

He's at a stalemate in the game not able to solve a puzzle which mentions a child. When he finds the Survivors of flight 815 he integrates when he discovers that one will soon give birth. That's his answer. he needs that baby. Only what he doesn't know is that they have nothing to do with the Island puzzle. When he would suddenly pop up repeatedly he was signing onto his account that's how he would disappear as Claire would be placed into his inventory. Once Ethan is eradicated by Shannon he is locked out of the system for griefing.

Rousseau and the black rock are all places in the game to visit. there are triggers all over the island for certain adventures to begin.

When Michael and Sawyer wash up on the island could possibly be the starting point for beginning players.
